Privacy Policy
Last updated: 7 August 2026
This policy explains what personal data Softgels Lab ("we", "us") collects through this website, why we collect it, and the rights you have under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Who we are
Softgels Lab is the data controller for personal data collected through this site. You can contact us about privacy at hello@softgelslab.com.
What we collect and why
- Quote-request form. When you submit the contact form we collect the details you provide: your name, work email, brand or company, the product specifications you enter (category, strength, carrier, volume) and any message. We use this solely to respond to your enquiry and prepare a quote. The submission is sent to us by email through our hosting provider.
- Analytics. If you accept cookies, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used (for example, which pages are viewed and general device and approximate-location information). This data is aggregated and used to improve the site. No analytics data is collected until you accept.
Legal basis
- Responding to your quote request: your consent and/or steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract.
- Analytics: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time (see “Your choices” below).
Who we share data with
We do not sell your personal data. We use a small number of service providers who process data on our behalf:
- Hosting and email — our hosting provider stores the site and delivers contact-form emails to us.
- Google — Google Analytics (only after you accept cookies) and Google Fonts, which loads the site's fonts from Google's servers. When fonts load, your IP address is processed by Google to deliver them.
International transfers
Some providers (such as Google) may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where that happens, transfers are covered by appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
How long we keep it
We keep quote-request enquiries for as long as needed to handle your request and for our ordinary business records. Analytics data is retained according to Google's retention settings.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the processing of your personal data, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
To exercise any of these rights, email hello@softgelslab.com.
Your choices
You can accept or decline analytics cookies using the banner shown on your first visit, and change your choice at any time via the “Cookie settings” link in the site footer. See our Cookie Policy for details.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
